A New Chapter in My Mission for Mental Health Awareness
There are moments in life when the weight of our experiences shapes us into something more, more aware, more compassionate, more driven to be the person we once needed. Today, I’m stepping into a new role that reflects that journey.
I’m honored to announce that I have been appointed as a Community Ambassador for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and am on my way to becoming a Talk Saves Lives presenter. This isn’t just a title, it’s a commitment to continue advocating for mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and the importance of real conversations that can save lives.
Grief has been my teacher. Loss, struggle, and the raw reality of mental health battles have been my lived experience. And I know I’m not alone. Every day, people are fighting battles no one sees, desperate for relief, hoping someone understands. I see you. I hear you. And I am here to make sure the conversation never stops.
This is why Manic Isle exists, not just as a brand, but as a movement. From the beginning, I made a promise to give back. A portion of all Manic Isle sales, as well as a percentage of my real estate commissions, is donated to AFSP to support their work in education, advocacy, and research. This mission is woven into everything I do.
My journey with AFSP is just beginning, but my commitment has always been there. Becoming a Talk Saves Lives presenter will allow me to share vital education about suicide prevention, warning signs, and how we can all play a role in saving lives. It’s a conversation that too many people shy away from, but I refuse to stay silent.
For anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or on the edge of giving up, I want you to know: your story is not over. You matter. You belong. And I will keep showing up to make sure you remember that.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, my business, and my mission. This is just the beginning.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. You are never alone.
